PEP Development Part of Ice Shark Spring Program
Submitted By Greg McNevan on Monday, January 18, 2016
The Maitland PEP Ice Shark organization is excited to improve the skill development of our Spring Hockey program through Power Edge Pro (PEP).

With the addition of PEP Trainers Kory Deitz and Jason Brooks to the Ice Shark team our goal is to not only provide a great Spring Hockey opportunity, but develop and prepare our players to compete at the next level.

PEP is a progressive training system with unique skating patterns that produce results in a variety of superior skills such as speed, acceleration, balance, agility and quickness. PEP allows players to work on developing skills that you CAN'T get from traditional training with pylons. Skating through some of the elite PEP circuits demand evasive skating techniques with powerful edge control, upper body control and precision puck control.

PEP training will be include as part of the practice ice time leading up to our teams first tournaments.  With many of our players preparing for AAA tryouts in mid-April, PEP will help them focus on those key skills that will give them an edge on the competition during their tryouts.

With most of our coaches in place for this spring we are working on finalizing our rosters and putting together practice and tournament schedules.  Team by team rosters and schedules will be posted by the end of January.
