Minor Peewee Ice Sharks to include Highlanders players
Marc Hodgkinson, Head Coach of the Maitland Ice Sharks Minor Peewee ’95 team, is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with the Grey Bruce Highlanders AAA organization resolving a schedule overlap between the Highlanders' try-outs and two Ice Sharks tournaments.

The Highlanders have agreed to allow several players who would normally be attending Highlanders’ try-outs on dates that conflict with two Ice Sharks tournaments to play in these tournaments instead. A special thank-you to Bill Purser of the Highlanders for being so accommodating in enabling these players to enjoy the full Ice Sharks experience.

The ability to add these players is key to achieving the Ice Sharks organization’s goal of providing spring hockey opportunities for elite hockey players from Grey and Bruce Counties, as well as those from Huron and Perth. The participation of players trying out for the Highlanders will be a welcome addition to the Minor Peewee team as they will join the 11 other players currently committed to playing Ice Sharks hockey this season. A listing of current Ice Sharks players is available on the Player Roster page within the Minor Peewee portion of the website.
