Sharks tie Zone 7-7 in tournament tune up!
The 99 Ice Sharks battled the Zone Training to a 7-7 exhibition tie on Sunday in Wingham. The Sharks started slow and found themselves down 4-2 at the end of the first. The kids forechecked much better in the 2nd and 3rd periods, causing turnovers and finally tying the game with 28 seconds to play. Scoring for the Sharks were Carter Collinson (3), Noah Kuno, Josh Gotfried, Kade Landry and Joseph Yuntd. Brock Baier and Joe McConnell split the goaltending duties.
Next action for the Sharks is Thursday May 3 when they face Pro Hockey in the opener of the Spring Shootout.
