Two Major Peewee Ice Sharks,
Michael Osadca and
Matthew Baker, are currently competing in the Western Ontario Athletic Association (WOAA) finals with their winter team - the
Kincardine Peewee Rep team.
Gifted and reliable defencemen, both Osadca and Baker are displaying the talent and hard work they showcased last year in their excellent play on the Minor Peewee Ice Sharks.
The Kincardine Peewee Reps sport an 8-3-1 playoff record with 3 wins and a loss in preliminary round robin play followed by a series win over Mitchell in four games (3-1 record) leading to their current participation in the WOAA finals against Listowel. Osadca, Baker and the rest of their Kincardine team mates lead the series with Listowel 5 points to 3 with Game 5 scheduled for the evening of February 24th.
