Hit a Bump in the ROAD TO THE FINAL
Heading into the semi-final the Sharks were a little battererd after the long day Sat.
Coming out hard vs the Hockey Loft and creating great scoring chances as well as keeping the Loft's sniper off the score board, we just couldn't get 1 past the Loft's goalie. All in All the team played hard and disciplined even though the game ended in a 4-1 loss.
Coming out of the weekend with a 500 record was another great achievment , all players deserve a pat on the back as they continue to represent the Maitland Ice Sharks with great dignity, desire and sportsmanship on and off the ice.
They will now gear up for there last tourney in Collingwood at the end of the month. Exhibition game in Sarnia this weekend and 1 more practice to help prepare for this event.
