07 Maitland Ice Sharks start the season off strong with two big wins durning the Quick Feet fun day on April 16th in Walkerton.
The 1st game scheduled for 11am against Quick Feet started off even with lots of end to end play. After 3 well played periods the team came together to pull off a 3-0 win.
The second game played at 2pm proved to be more of a challenge. Quick Feet came out strong ready to play scoring the 1st goal a few minutes into the 1st period. That didn't deter the Maitland Ice Sharks any as they put one right back in the opponents net. The score flip flopped the rest of the game but after scoring the 5 goal in the last 4 minutes the Ice Sharks came out with a 5-4 win. Great start boys!
