Maitland PEP Ice Sharks AAA Spring Hockey

The U13 (2011) Maitland Ice Sharks rose to the occasion and triumphed in not just one, but two tournaments this Spring Season (Brantford Regional Showdown & London Rising Stars).  Their skill, determination and teamwork shone through as they battled their way to victory.  This team and their families have developed a strong community that celebrates and nurtures the love of the game. Congratulations to the players & coaches on this achievement.  

Unfortunately, we were not able to get a volunteer to organize our 3 on 3 group for this spring.  If anyone is interested in organizing it for next year please let me know and we can get on it early.

As the calendar rolls around to 2024, it means the spring hockey season is not far away.  We currently have coaches for 4 teams, and are working on getting the 3 on 3 organized for our youngest groups.

The newly formed 2014 ice sharks team had a spring to remember going undefeated 10-0 in two tournaments. First winning the Niagara Battle with two come from behind victories including a late tying goal with the goalie pulled to set up a very late winning goal. Then it was this past weekend coming out on top in the London Rising Stars tournament. In the final game a 3-1 deficit in the 2nd period turned into a 6-4 win plus a couple late empty net goals to seal it.
