JASON BROOKS - Coach Mentor /PEP Level 1 Trainer
Currently Coach of the Listowel Jr. B Cyclones, 2014-15 GOJHL Coach of the year, and PEP 1 Instructor. Jason will support Kory Deitz in running the PEP sessions as well as support any of our coaches with practice plans to improve team systems and strategies.
Jason started his hockey career in Listowel, playing for the Cyclones and then moving on to play for the Ottawa 67’s from 1993-1994 and then the London Knights from 1994-1996. After his OHL career he played for the University of Waterloo Warriors from 1997-1998 and was the assistant coach of the University of Waterloo from 1999-2001. Jason coached with the Guelph Storm of the OHL from 2001-2010 as an Assistant Coach, Associate Coach, Head Coach and Assistant GM and GM. He then went on to take the position of Assistant Coach with the Niagara Ice Dogs from 2011-2013.
Jason won an OHL Championship with the Guelph Storm in 2004, was on the under 17 coaching staff from 2005-2008 as an Assistant Coach and then as Head Coach. Won the Canada Winter Games in 2007 as an Assistant Coach and the Under 17 Hockey Challenge in 2008 as Head Coach. Coached the 2013-14 Listowel Atom Reps to an OMHA Championship.
KORY DIETZ - PEP Level 2 Trainer / Coach Mentor
I am excited to bring Power Edge Pro to the Maitland Ice Shark organization. Together with the Ice Shark team we will strive to increase skill development through PEP to improve and prepare these athletes for the next level of their hockey careers. Currently Coach of the Jr. C Mitchell Hawks, President of Huron Perth Lakers Hockey Operations, and Listowel Cyclones Scout and Skills coach.

I got certified as a Level 3 Trainer in Power Edge Pro because it’s a great small area development tool, which combines all the aspects of hocke, and the kids enjoy it a lot as its fun , and in a no pressure environment .
