Bantam Girls - Under 14, 2010 (Maitland PEP Ice Sharks AAA Spring Hockey)

The Ice Shark Girls get there there first taste of elite tournament action and come away with silver. The girls started a little slow in their first game but picked it up once they got use to the speed and physical play of the game. The Sharks take their first game 3-2 against Fierce Hockey. On Saturday the team from the Rock Xtreme Hockey was up next and it was a fast paced spirited affair with good chances to score and a lot of hard work. The girls came up short losing to what everyone thought was the best team of the tournament 3-1. 

The Ice Shark girls mark another first for the organization as they participate in their first AAA tournament on the weekend in Scarborough at the CanLan Pre-Season Spectacular. Welcome to the first Ice Sharks Girls Team. We will be communicating through the website to pass on information about the program. The teams roster is almost set and the schedules are up on the website. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you talented hockey players.
