2001 Girls, 2011 (Maitland PEP Ice Sharks AAA Spring Hockey)

The Maitland Ice Sharks minor atom girls competed against ten other teams this past weekend at the Canlan Girls Hockey Challenge. The Sharks played four tough round robin games finishing with a best overall record of four wins and no losses. As a result of their 1st place standing, the Sharks advanced directly to the championship game, facing the winner of the 2nd and 3rd place seeds. The final game was played against the Lil Devils. It was a fast paced, back and forth game with tons of excitement. Unfortunatly for the Sharks, we could not score on the tough Devils goalie and lost a close 1-0 ...

The 2001 Maitland Ice Shark girls competed this past weekend in Scarborough and captured their 1st tournament title, the Canlan Pre-Season Spectacular. The Sharks defeated PSE 3-1 in the final. Congratulations to all the girls for a great weekend of hockey and fun.

The Ice Shark organization is pleased to announce the formation of a 2001 Girls Ice Shark team. This team will play in two Spring tournaments, the Pre-Season Spectacular (May 13-15) and the Girls Hockey Challenge (Jun 10-12). The final roster and complete schedule will be posted shortly.
