The 2002 Maitland Ice Sharks are ready to hit the ice. The coaches have searched Huron and Perth Counties and beyond to find the talent and skill that has the makings of a winning team.
Coach Hewitt is confident that the players are going to enjoy the experience. This year the team will travel to Brantford, Toronto and Stratford for tournaments where they will match up with other Spring Teams.
Joining the team as rookies this season are: Alyssa McLeod, Raymond Horan, Eric Gettler, Jacob Condy, Caleb Cribbin, Mitchell LaFay, Callan Ferguson, and Kaden Eybergen. These players were all scouted out by the coaching staff and impressed the staff with their talent in league and tournament play this season. They will be welcomed to the team by the returning players: Max Newson, Dakota Coultes, Kyle Dunn, Ethan Hewitt, Nolan Regier, Callum McMann, Jared De Winter, and Zach Wall.
