The Major Peewee Ice Sharks have had their final practice in preparation for their first tournament next weekend.
Assistant Coach Abe Herbst lead the Ice Sharks practice yesterday as the team prepares for the Northshore Challenge Cup on April 25-27th.
In the short time the team has been together, they have quickly gelled both on and off the ice (something's that clearly evident by the time it takes them to get undressed after a practice - who knew boys could be so chatty?). On the ice, the coaching staff has got the boys really "clicking" as their sharp passes, quick tempo, and heads up play-making is looking quite impressive.
The test comes this weekend as the Ice Sharks play both Hitmen teams (Black and Red) as well as the Chatham-Kent Coyotes and Demolition Dogs '95. For more info on the tournament, click on "Tournaments" on the Major Peewee team page (or
