Minor Atoms save their best for last.
The minor atoms won the AAA Division Championship at the Canlan Spring Showdown in Scarborough this past weekend.
The Ice Sharks saved their best game for the final beating the Maksymum Spring Selects by a score of 4-1. Player of the game honors were shared by Carson Hebner and Connor Roberts. Carson made several key saves including a penalty shot while Connor added a goal and an assist.
Each and every player gave it their all, out skating their opponents to loose pucks, winning the battles in the corners and back checking all game long.
Congratulations boys! Your hard work paid off in the end.
The Ice Sharks will try to keep this momentum going in their next tournament in Stratford, the ‘Thunder Spring Spectacular’ on May 14th-16th.
