Novice, 2011 (Maitland PEP Ice Sharks AAA Spring Hockey)

The Novice Ice Sharks walked away proud from the Collingwood Blue Thunder Tournament last weekend. 

The team entered the CanLan Future Stars tournament after two exhibition games with lessons learned and lines set for the weekend.  Starting things off was a game against The Buffalo Junior Sabres.  A disappointing 8-3 loss does not tell the whole story.    

The 2002 Ice Sharks have hit the ice with speed, skill, and enthusiasm. The team brings together 8 centres with players from South Huron, Blyth, Wingham, Goderich, Mitchell, Bruce Peninsula, Milverton, and Kincardine. Knowing they will be force to be reckoned with they have entered into three tournaments this season. 

The Maitland Ice Shark organization are pleased to announce the formation of the 1st 2002 birth year team. The team looks strong and we can expect great things from this eager, talented group.
