Tyke, 2011 (Maitland PEP Ice Sharks AAA Spring Hockey)

The tykes finished their season with a semi-final appearance at the Bluewater Tournament in Sarnia this past weekend.  Prior to that they made an appearance in the final of the Pro-tips tournament in London Victoria Day weekend.

Hardwork, determination, and much improved positional play was the recipe for another successful weekend for the Tykes at the Toronto Cup.

   The Tykes traveled to St. Mary's for the 1st annual 2004 Southwest Jets Invitational this past weekend, where they enjoyed a fun and rewarding experience.  They played in 4 games, and each of them competed in a skills competition. 

Our 2004 Tykes began their spring hockey careers with two exhibition games vs. the KW Ranger.    

Tyke season schedule has been set. All planned games and practices have been posted on the calendar.  We are going to get things underway with an exhibition game in Listowel on April 10th against the K-W Rangers.  I thought this would be a good way to see all the kids in a game situation.  We will hold a parent/player meeting prior to this game to meet everyone and review the goals for the season.  We plan to have the roster finalized and posted by March 15th.
