TYKE SQUAD IS GEARING UP FOR NEXT TOURNEY
The tykes team travelled to Sarnia today for another exhibition match against the Bluewater Sharks where they didn't let the surroundings distract them at all defeating them 8-2.

After a tough week-end in Brantford the kids rallied quite nicely today regaining some confidence while we try and prepare them for the next tournament in Collingwood. Playing at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre, the kids had lots to look at around the big rink , but they didn't let it bother them.
1 minute into the game Ice Sharks open the scoring with a goal from Jack Lukas who found the back of the net on a pass from Parker Miller. Sam Dupuis gave the sharks a 2 goal lead after  in all alone and making no mistake.
2 min. into the second Braeden Holloway  passed one out front to Sheldon Pryce who fooled the goalie with an off-speed shot through the 5 hole. This gave the Ice Sharks a 3-0 lead. Bluewater finally got on the board with a goal from Sam Joris. At the 4 min. mark of the 2nd  Leah Herrfort keeping the puck in at the blue line up to Braedy Holloway who again found Sheldon in front of the net who buried the one-timer for his 2nd of the game. 1 min. later Sam Dupuis gets his 2nd of the game on a pass from Eric Vander Eyk giving us a 5-1 lead. Starting the 3rd Parker Miller picked the corner nicely on a pass from Sam Dupuis and Riley Keupfer.Bluewater tried to get back into the game with another goal from Sam Joris. That would be all for Bluewater and at the 5:00min. mark of the third Sam Dupuis completed the hat trick unnassisted. The Ice Sharks were not quite finished with the Blue Sharks  because Kyle Stanbury found the back of the net with Sheldon Pryce and Braedy Holloway earning assists.

Great defensive play and back checking paid off today and Bobby between the pipes was solid as a rock!!
With only 1 more practice to go and then 2 more tournaments back to back we hope the kids can carry some momentum from todays game into these tournaments.
